Incorporation & Fee-Levy Info

Our Structure

CURE exists at both Concordia and McGill Universities.  CURE was founded after the inaugural Study in Action conference in 2007 as a  project of QPIRG Concordia and later became a joint project with QPIRG McGill. As of 2015/2016 CURE Concordia is an incorporated non-profit with its own 8-cents-per-credit fee-levy (funded by Concordia undergraduate students).

CURE at McGill remains under the direct umbrella of QPIRG McGill, while CURE Concordia is an independent organization with its own Board of Directors, Constitution and legal obligations. CURE Concordia continues to promote the CURE mandate and views its relationship with both QPIRG Concordia and CURE at McGill as one of autonomous partnership and collaboration.
